Wrightwood city is located in San Bernardino County, California and according to the last census the population for the city was recorded at 3,837 in the 2000 census. As people visit this small yet peaceful village, Wrightwood is still not a city. It lies in the unincorporated region in San Bernardino and lies just 2 miles east of Angeles National Forest bordering Los Angeles County. Just west of Wrightwood is Mountain High Resort, which is a ski/snowboard resort consisting of three mountains. Visited by nearby residents of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange County, it is the nearest ski resort in Southern California and often the most visited in the nation.
